ABOUT US

The Centre was created in 2013 by a group of experienced doctors in keeping with the demand that specialist services should be available in a natural and relaxed setting, without the hassle of travelling to busy localities. 

The Centre is located at Springwood. It is easily accessed via M1 motorway (Exit 20) and Springwood bus terminal, both within 50 metres of the Centre. There is ample free parking on the premises. There are systems in place to handle personal information with due confidentiality. 

Mental Health

The Centre offers outpatient service for people with ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, personality disorders, older persons’ mental health, psychosis, and substance use problems amongst others.

Based on comprehensive assessment and uniqueness of each case, management plans are formulated using medication where appropriate and psychological approaches where indicated. Therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing etc may be used to achieve the best possible outcome.

A new consultation with a psychiatrist lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on complexity of the case. In this consultation, initial diagnosis and management plan are discussed. Subsequent visits are scheduled as per individual requirement.

As medical doctors, psychiatrists in our Centre can order and review diagnostic tests, prescribe medication taking into consideration individual's physical health and limitations and provide continuing care in acute, stabilisation and rehabilitation phases of care delivery.

To see a psychiatrist at our Centre, please obtain a referral letter from your General Practitioner. The referral letter needs to be faxed or e-mailed to us. Please call us to make an appointment.
