There is ample free parking on the premises. The Centre has professional consulting suites for doctors of various specialities and rooms for group therapy. There are systems in place to handle personal information with due confidentiality.
The Centre has neurology clinics for diagnosis and management of various neurological conditions eg. Migraine, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, TIA, Stroke, Myasthenia Gravis, Peripheral Neuropathy etc. There are facilities for Botox injections for chronic migraine, nerve conduction studies and EEG (Electroencephalography).
The Centre offers a range of outpatient programs for people with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, personality disorders, older persons’ mental health, psychosis and substance use problems amongst others. The Centre specialises in managing complex and treatment-resistant conditions such as treatment-resistant depression, poorly responsive bipolar disorder, unremitting anxiety disorders, complex trauma, residual psychosis and complex personality disorders.
Based on comprehensive assessment and uniqueness of each case, management plans are formulated using medication where appropriate and psychological approaches where indicated. Therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Psychodynamic oriented approaches are used to achieve the best possible outcome.
New consultations with psychiatrists last about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on complexity of the case. In this consultation, initial diagnosis and management plan are discussed. Subsequent visits are scheduled as per individual requirement.
If in discussion with the treating psychiatrist it is felt that additional input is required from other professionals i.e. therapists, neurologist etc, appropriate referrals can be made. Psychiatrists in the Centre work collaboratively with psychologists for effective co-ordination in management of mental well-being.
As medical doctors, psychiatrists in our Centre can order and review diagnostic tests, prescribe medication taking into consideration individual's physical health and limitations and provide continuing care in acute, stabilisation and rehabilitation phases of care delivery.
To see a neurologist or psychiatrist at our Centre, please obtain a referral letter from your General Practitioner. The referral letter needs to be faxed or e-mailed to us. Please call us to make an appointment.
